About Aircon Revolution

Hi, I’m Franchesca — I started Aircon Revolution during the run of UK heatwaves in 2026, when I went looking for a straightforward, honest answer to “which air conditioner do I actually buy” and mostly found recycled spec sheets and confusing jargon instead.

This site exists to answer that properly: which unit suits which room, what it actually costs to run, whether it’s worth paying more for one that heats in winter too, and how to keep it working well for years rather than one summer.

How we choose what to recommend

We prioritise units with clear specifications, genuine UK availability, and a track record of real owner reviews — not just the highest-margin product. Where an independent body like Which? has tested a unit, we say so. Where we haven’t personally tested something yet, we say that too.
